HP Ink Costs More Than Human Blood, Says Website Stating The Obvious
What’s this? HP printer ink’s needlessly expensive? I’m shocked, shocked!
What’s this? Winter is cold and summer is hot? My mind has been blown!
The Consumerist, which is one of the best blogs on the internet, furnished the digital world with this chart showing that HP Black Ink #45 costs twice as much as human blood. Facts?
HP Ink #45: http://www.shopping.hp.com/product/C6650FN%2523140?landing=supplies&category=&family_name=
$63.99/84mL which equals $0.76/mL
Blood: Apparently Red Cross classifies ~500mL of blood as being worth $200, so that comes out to $0.40.
I remember last year I realized that buying new ink carts for my HP printer cost more than buying the printer, which came with the carts. If it wasn’t for our dying planet I’d be throwing out brand new printers left and right. Anyway, if you want to stick it to HP, use a cart refill website like 123inkjets.com.

doesn’t work that way. the cartridges that come with new printers don’t last as long as the refills.

Great information. I’m researching laser printers for my small office.

Yes, but only HP ink can resurrect the dead, defeat vampires, etc.
