Gel-Covered Mouse Hiding In The Corner At CES 2010
In the corner of one room at the Consumer Electronics Show I found a gel-covered orb mouse.
I’d never seen one before, and I think I know why.
Grabbing onto the thing made me feel like I had to wash my hands. The representative said that that wasn’t the case, that interchangeable covers kept users germ-free in a household full of germs.
Besides the odd feel of the gel, it was really awkward to use. Maybe that was due to my heavy use of a normal mouse, but I don’t think I’d get this for anyone other than a grandparent or a child who doesn’t have a sweet G5 mouse.
