Bummer: Earth’s Bio-Diversity Nears Point Of No Return
Earth’s bio-diversity is in incredible danger, in what scientists are calling a “real downer.”
Apparently, our ecological footprint is now 1.3 times what the earth can handle. Unless we make serious changes over the next three decades, earth will lose it’s ability to stably support life. Ain’t that the siznich?!
Here are some of scientists biggest sad-alerts:
*Overfishing has reduced blue fin tuna numbers to 18% of their 1970’s levels. Brutal!
*More than seven million hectares are lost worldwide every single year. Aw, snap!
*The burning of Indonesia’s forests for palm oil generates 1.8bn tonnes of greenhouse gases a year. What a drag!
If we don’t fix this over the next few decades, the earth will no longer be able to stably sustain life. Super lame!
