Super Slim Que Reader Is Super Pricey
There isn’t much more to say about the Que e-reader, the rep said plenty after I asked for a one-minute demo.
As she said, the Que is targeted toward business readers. So is the price, when the reader is released in April prices will be a whopping $649 for the 4GB model and $799 for the 8GB model — which will also feature 3G on top of the Wi-Fi that is featured on both.
OK, it’s big and it’s thin, but that is far too much money for a reader in my (e)book. For even $400 any reader can get a netbook with a color screen and a real keyboard. Maybe I just don’t get it.
