It’s so simple but so genius, putting the most basic laws of thermodynamics into action to get things moving. The water in the tube heats up, rising upward and out of the top vent. At the same time, the cold water rushes into the heating pipe to maintain constant pressure.
The manufacturer claims that users can get the tub up to 100 degrees Fahrenheit. It certainly looks nice and steamy in a winter picture.
Is it worth the $6,000? I’m not sure, but the science behind the heating coil is so simple, I wonder how hard it would be to set one of these up. I’ve got an old bathtub that would be perfect!
