YouTube has introduced a novel way to find and watch music videos. Dubbed YouTube Discovery (Disco for short) is a pretty snazzy way to whip up a playlist of music videos.
Throw the resulting playlist on a projector, and you’ve instantly got a night of aural and ocular stimulation.

Once the playlist is saved, it pops up in the side of the normal YouTube video browser, making it easy to see video information, favorite videos and see related videos while still having the option to resume the playlist.

I put Liars in and came up with this little playlist

I’ve tried it with a slew of bands, and it nicely brings up related artists and adds them to the mix too.

The playlist doesn’t work well on the average YouTube video. For instance, I got a bunch of results for the band rooster when I tried to make a playlist for all Death Metal Rooster versions.
